Planning a visit to National Aviation? To make your trip easier, you will find useful directions to our location, both by air and car.

National Aviation is located in the Flightshops Bookstore at the St. Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport on 14402 Airport Parkway in Clearwater, Florida. Below are three common routes used to reach National Aviation by car. Map directions are courtesy of Map Quest. Click on hyperlinked road names to view full-size map image.

From Tampa. Take the Howard Franklin bridge West towards Pinellas County. Off of Howard Franklin, go West on Ulmerton Road. About a mile down Ulmerton, take a right on Roosevelt Blvd. As Roosevelt Blvd. curves to the left, exit at the first right onto Airport Parkway into St. Petersburg Clearwater Airport. We are located in the 1st building on the left labeled Aviation Books.

From Southern Pinellas County. Take US-19 North-bound. Exit right on Ulmerton Road and head East. About 1 1/2 miles down Ulmerton, take 49th Street to the left. 1/2 mile up 49th Street, take the exit to the right to Roosevelt Blvd. Take the first light (146th Street) that goes into the airport. Follow the road to just before the terminal and turn right on Airport Parkway that leads to the hangars. Follow that road around the curve and we are the last building on the right before the intersection with Roosevelt.

From Northern Pinellas County. Either take US-19 South-bound and exit off Easy Bay Drive to the right, or get directly onto East Bay Drive and head East. Continue straight on East Bay Drive as it becomes Roosevelt Blvd. until you reach the airport. Take the first light (146th Avenue) that goes into the airport. Follow the road to just before the terminal and turn right on Airport Parkway that leads to the hangars. Follow that road around the curve and we are the last building on the right before the intersection with Roosevelt.

National Aviation can also be accessed by flying in to the airport. Our airplanes are located at the Air-1 hangar, which is located off of the south end of Runway 35R on Taxiway Alpha. Below is some useful information, Navaids, and Frequencies for locating the airport:
